History of the Mini Blind

A mini blind (mini-blind, miniblind) is a type of non-vertical window blind made of long, narrow slats held together by string and located inside the window. Its slats are not as wide as venetian blind slats.2 A mini blind has more slats than a regular Venetian blind because its slats are narrow. The slats of mini discount blinds are less than half the width of regular Venetian window blinds. The slats are opened and closed by rotating a rod or by directly pulling a string. They are raised and lowered by pulling other strings.

The NIR technology will improve process efficiency and reduce product waste, and is expected to save about $23,000 annually in energy costs.

The Force Modulator: A durable sheet metal technology for the steel industry that allows proper control of press forces during part forming.

Width x Length (Width Is Always Listed First) If an outside mount is required, the Width of the window should be measured at the top, the middle, and the bottom, with the smallest measurement being the measurement recorded minus 1/4 inch to allow room for the brackets to be installed. The Length of the window should be taken on the right and the left sides, with the smallest measurement being the measurement recorded (do not deduct 1/4 inch from this measurement).

In phase two of the campaign, the students distributed 300 T-shirts and 5,000 static cling decals with the phrase 2outta3. Finally, the entire Drug Treatment Center was revealed through the dissemination of 1,150 T-shirts and 5,000 silicone wrist bands with the Drug Treatment Center, 2outta3 Dont Drink. In the 3 years since the start of the Major Cities and Critical Areas Drug drug treatment center intiatives, there have been important achievements in developing better approaches to reducing drug treatment center. Miami, Baltimore, Denver, Washington, DC, Detroit, and Orlando have created city drug strategies. Additionally, drug rehab is working with many other large cities, including Portland and Atlanta, to develop local strategies. In the last year, drug rehab has been helping to bring SBIRT drug rehab to cities across the country. Several cities currently have existing drug rehab, including Houston, Seattle, Chicago, San Diego, and Denver.

In developing strategies, cities can learn valuable lessons from one another. Frequently, one citys strategy for combating drug treatment center holds promise for other cities facing similar problems. An average of 40 student athletes from Oceanside and El Camino High schools are tested weekly for marijuana, cocaine, amphetamines, heroin, and drug rehab. Additionally, grant funding allows the district to test roughly half of the testing population for steroids.

Very few student athletes test positive for drugs; since the drug rehab resumed in October 2005, there has only been one positive drug test. The district provides intervention services for students testing positive.

Helping Kids Choose Not to Drink

This year, the Drug Treatment Center launched a social norms marketing campaign in one middle school and three high schools. The goal of the campaign is to inform youth and parents that the majority of teenagers in Upper Bucks choose not to drink. In fact, a survey of 8th, 10th, and 12th graders combined found that two out of three had not used drug rehab in the last 30 days. The social norms campaign addresses the reality that the majority of youth over estimate how many of their peers engage in underage drinking. The Drug Treatment Center recruited 65 youth from 3 high schools to form what they call the Street Team to help plan and implement the project. Additionally, local businesses donated services and products to the campaign.
