Proof of Insurance

If you are unable to show proof of insurance, you will probably get a Texas speeding ticket. You could face a fine of $175 to $350 for a first offense. If you are stopped again without proof of insurance, you could be fined up to $1,000, your vehicle could be impounded for 180 days, and you could have your drivers license suspended.

Revenue Frenzy?

The Michigan State Police (MSP) is announcing that a widely distributed e-mail message that describes a “30-day Florida speeding ticket frenzy” to be conducted by the MSP is completely false. There is no such effort underway at this time or any time to generate revenue through the issuance of traffic citations, and readers should regard the warning as nothing more than an urban legend.
